Bourton
Often referred to as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’ due to the pretty stone bridges arching over the river Windrush, Bourton has a unique appeal for couples and families with a calendar full of community events centred on the river.
Stow
There’s so much right on your door step! Enjoy browsing in the many boutique shops, lazy lunches in the many tearooms and fine dining in the superb restaurants. There’s a farmers market every second Thursday with superb local ingredients.
Blockley
Used as the location for Father Browns fictional village of ‘Kembleford’. The lovely community café has been nominated for local tea/coffee shop of the year in the Cotswolds Life food and drink awards.
Cheltenham
As well as the well-known Cheltenham racecourse, Cheltenham also has a great café culture and a year round calendar of events, such as gin festivals and food walking tours.
Snowshill
A beautiful village used as a set in the ‘Bridget Jones’ diary’ films. The national trust Snowhill manor and gardens are well worth a visit.
