This light, airy and spacious apartment within a former Methodist church, has its quirky entrance via the 2 flights of stairs of the Clock Tower. The 2 bedrooms both have large en-suite bathrooms to accommodate up to 5 guests. Located in the village green and overlooking the oldest inn in England, the Clock Tower is perfect for shopping, dining and sightseeing in this stunning area.
The open plan living oozes character with wooden beams and exposed stonework. The relaxing lounge area is the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing, with views over the village green through the original church windows. There is ample entertainment with Freeview TV and netflix, a DVD player, WiiU console, digital Bluetooth Bose sound system and a supply of traditional board games to keep guests entertained.
Making your stay comfortable
We have underfloor heating for cosy warmth in the winter and plenty of fans and sky lights to let in the fresh air in summer. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, integrated fridge, microwave, ice maker, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. The central island with integrated hob and contemporary bar stools, create a very social space for preparing meals.
There is a spacious dining area to seat 5 comfortably. The Clock Tower offers flexible accommodation; ideal for a family of 4 or 5, couples or friends.
Our Bedrooms
‘The Chimes’ room is a cosy double bedroom, with beds that can be configured as 2 small singles or as one king upon request. This room has Jack and Jill access to a large en-suite which also leads back to the open plan living area. There is a full sized bath and shower, perfect for a relaxing soak.
We have a travel cot and high chair, although guests are advised to bring their own bedding for the cot bed.
The sumptuous ‘Tick-Tock’ Room can be configured as a superking or 2 singles. For families of 5 or groups of friends, there is an option of an additional guest bed. There is a large en-suite shower room with full size mirror and vanity unit.

We want you to feel truly relaxed from the outset of your stay at the Clock Tower so we supply all linen and towels as well as a welcome pack with kitchen and bathroom essentials. We have excellent reviews for our levels of cleanliness by our professional cleaners and closely follow guidelines to ensure all guests are assured of a safe and enjoyable stay.
Please be advised that there is no lift access to the Clock Tower apartment and guests will need to climb two flights of stairs.
